The Community Health & Wellness Support Program at United Swahili Refugee Women and Youth Empowerment Center (USRWYEC) promotes healthier and more resilient refugee and immigrant communities by improving access to health education, preventive care, wellness resources, and supportive services. The program addresses barriers to healthcare access through culturally responsive outreach, community education, and partnerships with healthcare providers and local organizations.
To empower refugee and immigrant individuals and families with the knowledge, resources, and support needed to make informed health decisions, access quality care, and achieve improved physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Building healthier communities requires collaboration, compassion, and shared commitment. USRWYEC welcomes individuals, healthcare professionals, organizations, businesses, and community members to join our Community Health & Wellness Support Program and help improve access to health resources for refugee and immigrant families.
Together, we can create healthier, safer, and more empowered communities where every refugee and immigrant family has the opportunity to access care, build resilience, and thrive.
