REFUGEE WOMEN ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT & LIVELIHOOD PROGRAM

Our Women's Empowerment Program equips refugee and immigrant women with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to achieve economic independence and leadership. Through education, entrepreneurship training, mentorship, life-skills development, and community support, we help women overcome barriers, build self-reliance, and create brighter futures for themselves, their families, and their communities. 


The Refugee Women Economic Empowerment & Livelihood Program is designed to strengthen the economic independence, resilience, and long-term self-reliance of refugee and immigrant women by equipping them with marketable skills, employment opportunities, financial literacy, entrepreneurship training, and access to business resources. The program promotes inclusive economic participation while helping women overcome barriers to employment, language, childcare, and financial stability.

Goal

To empower refugee and immigrant women to achieve sustainable economic independence through workforce development, entrepreneurship, financial education, and income-generating opportunities.

The Refugee and Immigrant Support Program 

The United Swahili Refugee Women and Youth Empowerment Center (USRWYEC) is dedicated to empowering refugee and immigrant individuals and families by providing culturally responsive, inclusive, and community-centered services. We help newcomers overcome barriers to successful integration by promoting education, economic opportunity, health, family well-being, leadership development, and community engagement.

Through strong partnerships with local agencies, healthcare providers, educational and Financial institutions, employers, and community organizations, USRWYEC equips refugee and immigrant communities with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to achieve self-sufficiency, build resilience, and thrive in their new communities.
